Before / after, level-matched

Same loudness. Decide by ear.

Before and after play at the same loudness, so you hear what the master changes: the kick, the low end, the space. Loud is fine. Flat is not.

What techno needs from a master

Sub that survives the cut

Vinyl does not forgive wide bass. The vinyl premaster keeps the low end mono, tames sibilance and leaves the limiter out, so the cutting engineer gets headroom instead of a brick.

Long tracks are normal here

Hypnotic techno runs eight or ten minutes, and that is normal here. Tell us the length when you send the mix.

An EP a DJ can play without touching the gain

Every track sits at the same perceived loudness, so the mix from your track two into track three stays smooth.

Before we master, we listen like a producer.

If something in the mix holds your track back, you hear it from us first. Raw productions stay raw.

Questions

Do I need a separate vinyl master?

If you press, yes. The digital master is limited for streaming. The vinyl premaster costs 15 € per track and goes straight to the cutting engineer.

Where do EBM and dark electro go?

Both are welcome. They have their own page with ambient and darkwave, because the questions there are about dynamics more than about the PA.

Which files do you deliver?

WAV 24 bit at your sample rate, WAV 16 bit / 44.1 kHz, and a vinyl or DDP version if you order one.

Send the full track. Hear at least 90 seconds free.

You get a free test master back, usually within 2–3 days. Then you decide.

Paste a Dropbox, Google Drive or SwissTransfer link and we fetch the file ourselves. Otherwise you get a private upload link by email, valid for 7 days. No account, no payment.
